The Inspiration

As it goes with their entire portfolio, Make Up For Ever's vision with Super Boost Lip Gloss was to create... a perfect lip gloss. That meant great performance (all day moisture! mirror-like shine!) paired with fab ingredients.

Another key? Developing shades that would perfectly match their beloved lip liner: the Artist Color Pencil. There's nothing like a good old fashioned lip kit, and now one of your favorites has its go-to partner at last.

"Beyond the formula benefits, the shade range of the Super Boost Lip Gloss includes pearly and ‘pure’ shades developed by our international team of 40 makeup artists. The Formula

According to the artist, the gloss's skincare-focused ingredients work to give your lips a smooth, plump appearance—exactly what you want for them. At the same time, they promise a non-sticky and extremely comfortable feel that allows you to wear the gloss all day (it'll last!) without feeling like your lips are getting dry.

"I love the slight cooling sensation and the cushiony feel of the gloss, especially," Duyos adds. "From an artist perspective,it is the perfect gloss—the buildable formula allows multiple options for use. When worn alone it can enhance or subtly shift the natural lip color and it can also amp up any lip product worn on the lips when layering the gloss on top.”

Whether you go for a pure or pearly finish, your gloss will feature an oil-dispersed hyaluronic acid that offers a visibly volumizing and smoothing effect and a Tri-Oil Complex containing camellia, cotton, and meadowfoam flower seed oils for that cushiony texture.

"I never thought I would say this, but I'm getting a little sick of lip gloss. However, Wherever Walnut liner is one of the best things that's ever happened to me—if you've tried it, you'll get it—so I had to give the Super Boost Lip Gloss a chance, and I'm glad I did. This formula is thick, so much so that it makes a satisfying pop when you pull the applicator out of the tube. However, it isn't sticky or tacky, and while most 'hydrating' lip glosses don't do anything for my Sahara-dry pout, this one instantly cocoons and comforts my lips. I love the giant doe-foot applicator and subtle minty tingle, and it def makes my lips look fuller and poutier.
